ABOUT

My very first watch at the age of 5 was a mechanical Seiko 5 Automatic, and I loved it. Some years later it did quit the job, and at the age of 12 I decided to give it a thorough repair. Unfortunately, after my surgery on the automatic movement some parts remained on my desk.
Although the start was bumpy with leftover pieces, the "virus of horology" infected me. My collection started, the knowledge and toolbox grew. More than 100 watches, numerous spare parts and the ability of repairing and restoring were added up over the years.
To write for the “UHREN-MAGAZIN”, "Chronos" and my personal watch blog, www.Watchthusiast.de, is pleasure and passion.

And let us be honest: Whet else other than a good wristwatch suits a man? Bracelets, earrings? No, not seriously. So, let's stay with the watches!
