ABOUT

I'm a South Floridian, born and raised, but have lived in Ohio, Michigan, Texas, Pennsylvania and, now, Frankfurt, Germany.

I was lucky to grow up with a father who deeply enjoys watches and that certainly left a lasting impression. From an early age, I explored jewelry stores, antique shows, and flea markets with my Dad and gained a real appreciation for watches new and old.

While I work full-time as an executive in the Electronics Industry, watches, from a collecting and learning standpoint, are a real passion for me. My professional life frequently takes me around the world, which has allowed me to visit watch shops and meet other enthusiasts. I tend to favor the vintage side of the hobby but certainly appreciate and own a number of new pieces.

In early 2014, I was fortunate enough to begin chatting with another Watchstars jury member, Robert-Jan Broer, a fellow "Fratelli", and I joined the publication in early 2015. I truly love to write, photograph and opine on watches, but the real joy comes in communicating with our readers, helping where I can, and, above all, learning more. It's an honor for me to be a part of Watchstars; bring on the voting!
