ABOUT

My first report about a watch was at the same time my destiny. It was like arriving home. I enjoyed this theme so much that it was clear that I wanted more. As lucky as I was I ended up short time later as a chief editor of an Austrian trade magazine in watch business in 1997. After 3 years I moved to Bienne, Switzerland. Omega president Mr. Urquhart had invited me to join the PR management team in the Omega headquarters in 2000 in order to optimize the technical communication – most of all around the commercial launch of the Co-Axial-Escapement, which was quite challenging. I'm happy that I had the chance to understand what is going on in the watch industry from the inside production point of view. When I came back to Austria I decided to stay independent and – besides my PR-projects – I restarted writing about watches, more and more... Today I write for 10 different media in Austria – I guess something around 170 pages about watches per year... And I still enjoy it very much.
